Why does my TV go black after a few minutes?
The device is sleeping. Set display sleep, screensaver, and the eco or auto-off timer to Never in the television settings. A browser cannot override an operating system lock screen.
What should I run it on?
Anything that opens a URL and stays on it: a mini-PC or Raspberry Pi running Chromium in kiosk mode (chromium-browser --kiosk https://www.flippityboard.com/tv/connect), an Android box or tablet with Fully Kiosk Browser, or a Samsung SSSP or LG webOS Signage panel using its URL launcher. Consumer smart-TV browsers are not supported.
Does it come back after a power cut?
Yes. The page remembers which screen it is connected to, so it returns to the same FlippityBoard on its own with no code to re-enter.
